GATE 2018 Registration has started from September 1, 2017. After submitting GATE Application Form, applicants can assess their form status. Can download they're admit card onwards, in January 5, 2018. 

·         The application fee for SC/ST/PWD/Girls is INR 750 and INR 1500 for many types. The GATE application charge is non refundable.

·         Authority has reimbursed additional charge if any. Candidates not having obtained the payment may email at gate2018@iitg.ac.in with topic Extra Payment Refund Request

The best way to fulfill GATE Application Form?

GATE Application form may be packed online on http://appsgate.iitg.ac.in/. It's performed through GOAPS. It stands to get Gate Online Application Processing System. The application procedure includes 4 measures:-

Step-1 Registration via GOAPS

Step-2 Filling GATE Application Form

Step-3 Uploading of Photograph, Signature and files that are demanded

Step-4 Application Fee Payment

Step-1 -- Registration via GOAPS

·         Go to the official Site

·         Click on the New User link

·         Input the Name, Mail identification and Telephone number for registration

·         Click on Submit

·         drop-down GOAPS identification number

·         Maintain this amount protected as you can take it into future

Step- 2 -- Split the Application Form

Login the portal together with the password and the registration id.

Pick GATE Assessment Centers: It is possible to select any 3 evaluation centers/cities for GATE examination

Enter Personal Details: Today enter Date of Birth, Your private phone and parent's name, nationality etc..

Input Academic Details: Input all eligibility information of Degree Examination, year of eligibility, College, and speech.

Input your Speech: Enter your home address, pin code, and identification evidence, etc.. 

Step- 3 -- Upload Scanned Images

Upload the copy of this photograph left-hand principle impression, class credentials, level certification in criteria and the arrangement.

Twist -- afford the A4 sheet and then draw a rectangular box 2cm * 6cm and signal in working with the support of black or blue ball point pen inside the box. Scan that picture in JPEG format, and then store it.

Photograph -- Color photo needs to be taken after August 1, 2017. The photograph has to be obtained in backdrop. 75 percent of Photo Area has to be coated with the encounter of candidate.

Characteristics: the utmost resolution for your picture will be 480*640 and minimal resolution is 240*320. The picture must from the conventional dimensions of 3.5 cm * 4.5 cm from JPEG format.

Thumb Impression -- Require the A4 sheet and then draw on the box of 3cm * 5cm. Set at the box. Scan the picture in JPEG format, and then store it.

In general, the valid GATE score is one of the key factors, which help to obtain the financial assistance during the following programs such as direct Doctoral programs and Master’s programs. Based on the scores candidate have chances to select the postgraduate programs.  These scores also help to avail the financial assistance. To enter this level the candidate must need to have a decent score in the exam.  Normally the criterion of the postgraduate admission is differed by based on the institute. GATE result 2017 will be released in last week of March 2017.
